Usually when we here an application has been removed from the iTunes App store, it is down to Apple. This isn’t the case with the new SkyFire mobile browser app for the iPhone that we told you about the other day.
SkyFire has been removed from the app store by the developers, because of the massive demand for the app, which has out a huge load on their servers and reduced the quality of video being converted from Flash in the app.
According to the developers the application is ‘Sold Out’, obviously SkyFire have put a limit on the number of applications that can be sold to ensure their servers can compete with the demand.
They have also said that they will be start selling the app again shortly, with more licenses available soon.
