The latest company to launch a range of tablets is Sharp, who will launch two different tablets in Japan, and they will be called the Sharp Galapagos tablets.
Unfortunately there are no details on the tablet OS they will be running, although Sharp has released details on the hardware specifications, and there will be a 5.5 inch model and a 10.8 inch model.
The 5.5 inch model will feature a 1024 x 600 resolution touchscreen display, whist the 10.8 inch model will feature a 1366 x 800 pixels resolution display.
Both models will come with a microSD card slot and will also come bundled with an 8GB microSD card, the 5.5 inch model will retail for about $474 whilst the 10.8 inch model will retail for about $653.
There are no details as yet on whether the Sharp Galapagos tablets will be available in the UK, US and Europe.
