Musicians and DJs will be pleased to know that Serato’s DJ software has received a new update this week in the form of Serato DJ Pro 2.3 correcting any issues or disparities caused by the recent roll-out of Apple’s new macOS Catalina operating system. Serato has today announced That the company’s DJ Pro 2.3 and DJ Lite 1.3 software is now compatible with macOS Catalina. Apple’s new ‘Music’ app is also supported which means it will be a seamless transition for DJs.
Libraries are loaded automatically with no need for manual exporting. But be warned that there is a collection of DJ hardware from some of Serato partners that do not currently work with macOS Catalina, obviously these issues are out of their hands and will need to be provided by the team responsible for creating the individual pieces of hardware.
