Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard quite a lot about the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017). Various leaks and images gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the handset.
Recently, the Korean company inadvertently confirmed the existence of both the Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) on the Korean information page for Kids Mode.
The information page lists devices which are compatible with Kids Mode, including Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6 series, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A series and many more. Surprisingly, the list also mentions the Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) as well although the devices are yet to see the light of the day. The list also mentions the Galaxy Note 7 even though the device was discontinued last year — the company do hope to relaunch the refurbished version with a smaller battery.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch FHD display with an octa-core processor under the hood paired with 3GB of RAM (instead of 2GB) and a 3,600 mAh battery. Additionally, the handset is expected to feature a 13MP rear and front camera, as well as a fingerprint sensor as an added security measure.
