The Samsung Galaxy S4 launched at the end of April, the handset has been an incredibly popular device for Samsung, they managed to sell 10 million handsets in the first month.
There have been rumors that Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 in January, this is apparently because Samsung has not met their internal sales targets of the S4.
We have heard a number of rumors that the Galaxy S4 may not be selling as well as Samsung had expected, although it looks like these may be untrue, as Samsung’s JK Shin has announced that they have sold 40 million Galaxy S4 handsets.
It took Samsung just a month to sell 10 million handsets, they sold 30 million after 4 months, so that would mean that they have sold 10 million since August.
40 million Samsung Galaxy S4 handsets sales is certainly impressive, and it looks like the handset is going to be even more popular than the Galaxy S3.
JK Sin also mentioned the battery issue that some owners of the Galaxy S4 handset have experienced, Samsung have already offered to replace batteries for owners of the handset, and he announced that they are working with a number of manufacturers to fix the issue.
