A number of leaks suggested that Samsung will unveil its Tizen OS by the end of October along with the Tizen handset, at Samsung’s Developer Conference. It seems as Tizen is not the only thing that the Korean giant is planning to unveil. Rumors suggest that it will also introduce its own cloud storage service – S Cloud.
S Cloud is one of the most rumored services by the Korean giant that was expected to debut with a number of flagship device over the past year. The latest rumor suggests that its development will be finished by the end of this year, and it will launch with Tizen 3.0 which is due next year.
S Cloud appears to be quite similar to other cloud storage services such as Dropbox and Google Drive, and will store a variety of media content such as your music, pictures and movies. The service will sync the data between different devices. It also appears that S Cloud may replace Google’s cloud service on Samsung-powered devices in the future. Currently, there are no news about the features it will bring at the table, and if it will offer anything different compared to other cloud storage services.
