If you thought app’s were the domain of smartphones and iOS devices, you might be surprised to learn that Samsung have announced their new Internet@TV App store has just passed the 2 million download mark, just a few weeks after it passed the 1 million marker.
With web-connected apps loaded onto your Samsung Smart TV, you can stream movies from Netflix, TV shows from Hulu, videos from YouTube, Next Level sports information from ESPN, music from Pandora and even login to view and make updates on your Facebook or Twitter accounts.
To start using the Samsung Apps platform you must first connect your Samsung TV to the internet, once connected you can then download apps and make your Samsung TV a more interactive entertainment system.
