Samsung’s latest smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S2 is now available to pre-order from Verizon, the device is available for $299.99 on a 2 year contract or for $349.99 without a contract.
Verizon are showing a launch date for the Gear S2 on their network of the 5th of November, the device is compatible with Android smartphones running Android 4.4 and above.
The Samsung Gear S2 comes with Samsung’s Tizen OS and the device features a round 1.2 inch display that has a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. This new smartwatch comes with a dual core 1GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM, there is also a 250 mAh battery and 4GB of built in storage.
Connectivity on Samsung’s latest smartwatch comes in the form of Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, NFC and it will come with Samsung’s new mobile payment system, Samsung Pay. This model of the device is $50 more expensive that the standard version as it has 3G built in.
