Samsung Gear 360 VR Camera Confirmed By Bluetooth SIG

Samsung Gear 360 VR Camera

The other day we heard that the Samsung Gear 360 VR Camera would be launching at Mobile World Congress this month along with the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The new Samsung Gear 360 VR Camera will be based on Samsung’s Project Beyond and now the device has been confirmed by the Bluetooth SIG.

The device has been listed at the Bluetooth SIG with the model number SM-C200 and it was registered on the 13th of January 2016.

Samsung new Virtual Reality Camera is said to come with two fisheye lenses, each one can apparently shoot in 180 degrees, this will give the ability to record video and take photos in 360 degrees.

The camera is expected to be supported by Samsung’s smartphones, we heard previously that the device will be supported by the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, it is designed to create content for Samsung’s Gear VR device.

We will have more details about Samsung;s new Virtual Reality camera when it is made official at Mobile World Congress later this month.
