We are still waiting for some official pricing from Samsung on their Galaxy Tab Android tablet, we have already seen it appear on Amazon Germany for 799 Euros, and now it has turned up on Amazon UK.
Amazon UK have the Samsung Galaxy Tab listed for £799.99, although it is not available to pre-order as yet, and the site hasn’t listed any delivery date.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7 inch touchscreen WSVGA display and it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo. It is also a fully functioning phone, it is capable of making and receiving voice and video calls plus SMS, MMS and email.
Other features include a 3 megapixel camera on the back for taking photos, and a VGA video camera on the front for making video calls.
The Galaxy Tab will feature a number of built in Google services, which includes Google Navigation, Google Goggles and Google Places, it also feature built in GPS.
From what we have seen so far on pciring, the Galaxy Tab is going to be more expensive than the iPad, Samsung are obviously hoping that people will buy their Android Tablet at a reduced price with a mobile data contract.
