Samsung are expected to release their new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus handsets in February of next year and now it would appear that we have some more details on the two devices.
According to a recent report, the new Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus handsets will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February and will launch some time in early March.
These new handsets will come with some high end specifications, the Galaxy S8 will come with a 5.1 inch display that will feature a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The larger Galaxy S8 Plus will come with a 5.5 inch display that will have a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and it will have a massive 801 pixels per inch.
Both handsets will come with a new Samsung Exynos 8995 processor, there will also be another version of the device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor.
These new handsets will apparently come with 6GB of RAM and both devices will get high end cameras, the larger S8 Plus will apparently come with dual cameras like the iPhone 7 Plus.
We are looking forward to seeing what Samsung’s new flagship handsets will be like, it is not clear as yet on whether they will get a complete redesign or whether the design will be similar to the Galaxy S7.
