The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge were announced at Mobile World Congress earlier this month and now we may have some details on the US release date of the handset.
According to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will launch in the US on the 11th of April, the Galaxy S6 Edge may be available at the same time, although the handset will apparently be in limited supply.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android Lollipop and the handset is equipped with a 5.1 inch display that has a Quad HD resolution of 250 x 1440 pixels.
Processing on the handset is provided by Samsung new flagship eight core Exynos 7420 processor and the device also comes with 3GB of RAM and a choice of storage options. You can choose from either 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of included storage, there is no expansion slot for extra storage.
The handset also comes with front and rear facing cameras, with a 5 megapixel camera up front for video chat and selfies and a 16 megapixel camera on the back of the handset.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 should be available with all of the major mobile carriers, which will include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint, as soon as we get some more information on pricing, we will let you guys know.
