Samsung has scheduled an event on March 1st at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona where the company is expected to take the wraps off its upcoming flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S6.
According to a new report, Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to hit retail in India sometime in the second week of April.
The report further mentions the handset will be up for pre-booking next month before it hits retail in the region in April. It’s not just India, the major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have already started teasing the handset for its launch in Spring 2015.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the alleged device is said to come with a 5.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 2,560 by 1440 pixels resolution, a 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot should you ever need more storage.
Other rumored features includes a 20MP camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,600 mAh battery and is expected to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system.
