A new Samsung Galaxy S5 rooting tool has been released by Geohot, who is well know for his iPhone and PS3 hacking, after his short stint and Facebook he has been working on some Android tools as well as a few other things.
The tool will allow you to quickly root your Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, this could be useful for owners of the smartphone on AT&T and Verizon as these two carriers lock the bootloader on the S5.

In order to use the tool on your Galaxy S5, you need to visit Towelroot.com from the browser in your Galaxy S5, once there it will give you instructions on how to download the app and use it on your Galaxy S5 device.
