We have been hearing rumors for a while that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be announced in January and will go on sale in February, although according to a recent report it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S5 release date could be March.
The news comes from the Korean Media, who have discovered that Samsung will put the Samsung galaxy S5 into mass production in January of 2014.
This would mean that Samsung will probably announce the handset in February, and with Mobile World Congress 2014 taking place in February, we could possibly see the device announced then, although last year Samsung held a separate event for the launch of the Galaxy S4.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to come with a new 64-bit mobile processor, the handset will come with at least 3GB of RAM, although there have been rumors that it may feature 4GB.
Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S5 include a 16 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL camera, and the device will also feature some new multi-party video conferencing software.
Samsung are also said to be focusing on the design and built quality of the Samsung Galaxy S5, with the company rumored to be ditching a plastic casing in favor of a metal casing.
The handset is also expected to come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and will apparently run a new version of Samsung;s custom TouchWiz user interface.
