The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with an IP67 rating for dust and water, this means it can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes, we previously heard that there would also be a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
According to @evleaks, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will launch in the US with a range of mobile carriers, which will include Sprint and AT&T, plus others, we presume the other carriers will be Verizon and T-Mobile.
As the Samsung Galaxy S5 conforms to the IP67 standard, then we would expect the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active to be more water and dust resistant.
The handset will also probably come with some sort of extra protection to keep the device safe from knocks and bumps, and we suspect it will have similar specifications to the existing S5.
As yet we do not know when the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will be made official, as soon as we get some more information on the handset, we will let you guys know.
