Samsung launched their new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone just under a month ago in Europe, the handset also launched in the US recently and now it looks like Samsung are getting close to selling 10 million Samsung Galaxy S4 handsets.
The news comes from Samsung’s CEO JK Shin, who recently told the Korea Times that the company expects to hit 10 million Galaxy S4 sales this week, which would make the handset Samsung’s most popular smartphone to date.
“We are confident that we will pass more than 10 million sales of the S4 next week. It is selling much faster than the previous model S3,” Samsung Electronics co-CEO Shin Jong-kyun told reporters at an industry forum in Seoul, Thursday.
It took Samsung 54 days to sell 10 million units of their Galaxy S3 handset, this time it looks like they will hit 10 million sales of the device in under a month, which is certainly impressive.
