Samsung has now officially announced their new Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone, which comes with a range of impressive specifications, and a new TouchWiz UI. This latest addition to Samsung’s Galaxy lineup is designed to offer users an enhanced mobile experience with its advanced features and sleek design.
Samsung has now released an official video of the new Samsung Galaxy S III which you can see below, and we get a good look at the handset and its wide range of features.
Display and Performance
The Samsung Galaxy S III features a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, offering vibrant colors and sharp visuals that make it ideal for watching videos, playing games, and browsing the web. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2, which adds durability and scratch resistance.
Processing is provided by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, ensuring smooth performance and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This powerful processor is complemented by 1GB of RAM, which further enhances the device’s multitasking capabilities. Whether you’re streaming high-definition content or running resource-intensive applications, the Galaxy S III is designed to deliver a seamless experience.
Camera and Connectivity
The Samsung Galaxy S III comes equipped with a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, perfect for video chats and selfies. The rear-facing camera is an 8 megapixel shooter that includes features such as autofocus, LED flash, and the ability to record full HD 1080p videos. The camera also supports burst mode, allowing users to capture multiple shots in quick succession, and Best Photo, which selects the best photo out of a series of shots.

The device will be available in 16GB and 32GB versions initially, with a 64GB version to be released at a later date. Additionally, there is a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards, providing ample storage for apps, photos, videos, and other content.
Software and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S III runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with Samsung’s new TouchWiz UI layered on top. The TouchWiz UI offers a range of enhancements and customizations, including new widgets, an improved notification system, and a more intuitive user interface. One of the standout features of the TouchWiz UI is S Voice, Samsung’s voice recognition software that allows users to control their phone using voice commands.
The Galaxy S III also includes Smart Stay, a feature that uses the front-facing camera to detect when you are looking at the screen, keeping the display active as long as you are engaged. Another innovative feature is Direct Call, which allows you to call a contact directly by lifting the phone to your ear while viewing their contact information or message.
