It looks like we finally have the majority of the specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. The design of the handset is similar to that of the existing handset, but it will come with a range of updated hardware.
The Galaxy Note 9 will feature a 6.3 inch OLED display and that will have a QHD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. The handset will feature a new S Pen that comes with Bluetooth and features its own built in battery. This can be used as a remote for controlling music and more.
The device will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 9810 like the Galaxy S9, we presume there will also be a Snapdragon model. The handset will come with two memory choices.
The first memory option will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, there will be a second model with 8GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of included storage. It is not clear as yet on whether the 512GB option will be available at launch.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a dual camera setup on the back that features two 12 megapixel cameras. Thee will also be a front facing camera which is said to feature 8 megapixels, the handset will come with Samsung’s AR Emoji like the Galaxy S9.
The handset will come with Android Oreo and it will be getting updated to Android P later on. Samsung will make the device official at their press event on the 9th of August and the handset will go on sale some time in August.
