Verizon Wireless has released a software update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. The update is a security update for the handset.
The software update for the Galaxy Note 8 on Verizon comes with Google’s security update for the month of February.
The update also comes with the latest security updates from Samsung, a total of 16 vulnerabilities in Samsung devices have been patched in this new update and it has been released as an over the air update.
The February security patch for Android is now available to download on the Galaxy Note 8 on Verizon. You can download the update by going to the Settings menu on your device.
Samsung are currently working on the Android Oreo update for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, this update is expected to land some time soon.
