The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now official and we have all the specifications on Samsung’s latest smartphone.
The Note 8 is equipped with a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels and it comes with 521 ppi.
The handset is powered by octa core Snapdragon 835 processor in some countries and an Exynos 8995 in other countries. The US will get the Snapdragon 825 version of the Note 8. The device comes with a new Samsung S Pen.
The handset comes with 6GB of RAM and you can choose between 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of storage. There is also a 33000 mAh battery with wireless charging and Android 7.1.1. The handset also comes with a microSD card slot which supports up to 256GB cards.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with dual rear cameras, these include two twelve megapixel cameras, one with a wide angle lens the other with a telephoto lens. Both cameras comes with OIS and the telephoto lens has 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. The handset also comes with Samsung’s Bixby Voice assistant.
The handset comes with NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE, it features an iris scanner, facial recognition and a fingerprint scanner. Samsung will start taking pre-orders on their new Galaxy Note 8 from Today. The handset will go on sale from the 15th of September 2015 and it will cost around $950 unlocked in the US.
