Android 5.0 Lollipop is already rolling out to a number of devices already, but there’s no word from Samsung about the exact roll out date, even for its Galaxy Note 4.
Previously, we heard that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge would be directly updated to Android 5.0.1, but it wouldn’t bring drastic visual changes on board. Recently, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 user manual was updated, apparently highlighting the new features Android 5.0.1 would bring at the table.
In case you can’t recall, a video showing Android 5.0 Lollipop running on the Galaxy Note 4 popped up online, showing what the new update would look like on the flagship phablet. It showed the same TouchWiz UI with minor visual changes on board, but there should plethora of under-the-hood changes to boost the performance of the handset.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is already getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in several regions across the globe, and it shouldn’t be long before Galaxy Note 4 users can enjoy the sweet taste of Android 5.0.1 Lollipop on their devices. We’ll update you as soon as the Korean OEM starts rolling out the latest update for the Galaxy Note 4.
