Samsung has been testing Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 4, and it seems the company is ready to roll it out for the handset.
According to a new report, Samsung has started rolling out the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 4 in Russia.
The folks at SamMobile received a screenshot of a Galaxy Note 4 running Android 5.1.1, hinting at the launch of the new version for the handset. The complete official change log is not yet available so it’s hard to tell the complete list of changes introduced with the latest update. But, one thing is for sure, the update is mostly comprised of bug fixes and enhancements.
As always, the update is being rolled out in batches so you may not see it right away. However, if you can’t wait for the OTA update to arrive on your handset, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > About Device and check for the updates from there. Let us know using the comments below if you’ve received the update. We’ll also keep an eye on the news and let you know if it starts rolling out in any other region.
