We have heard rumors in the past that Samsung were working on a new unbreakable smartphone display, and now according to a recent rumor the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may come with an unbreakable display.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to feature a 5.9 inch full HD flexible AMOLED display that will apparently be unbreakable and will be a major selling point of the handset for Samsung.
Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 include Samsung’s 8 core Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the device is also expected to feature a larger battery than the existing Galaxy Note 2.
Innovative Display Technology
The unbreakable display technology is expected to be a game-changer in the smartphone industry. Traditional smartphone screens are made from glass, which can shatter or crack upon impact. However, the flexible AMOLED display in the Galaxy Note 3 is designed to withstand drops and impacts without breaking. This is achieved through the use of plastic substrates instead of glass, making the display both flexible and durable. This innovation not only enhances the durability of the device but also opens up new possibilities for future smartphone designs, potentially leading to more flexible and foldable devices.
Enhanced Performance and Features
In addition to the groundbreaking display, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to come with a host of other impressive features. The 8 core Exynos 5 Octa processor is designed to deliver exceptional performance, making multitasking and running demanding applications smoother and faster. With 2GB of RAM, users can expect efficient memory management and quick access to frequently used apps.
The 8 megapixel camera is another highlight, promising high-quality photos and videos. While some may argue that other smartphones offer higher megapixel counts, Samsung’s focus on optimizing camera performance through software enhancements and sensor quality ensures that the Galaxy Note 3 will still deliver excellent photographic results.
Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the Galaxy Note 3 will benefit from the latest features and improvements in the Android ecosystem. This includes a more intuitive user interface, enhanced notifications, and better overall performance. Additionally, the device is expected to come with a larger battery compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 2, ensuring longer usage times and less frequent charging.
We previously heard that Samsung are expected to announce the new Galaxy Note 3 at IFA 2013 in Berlin later this year, as soon as we get some more information on the device we will let you guys know.
