We have been hearing more and more rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 over the last few weeks, the device is expected to be made official at a Samsung Unpacked event on the 4th of September, just two days before IFA 2013 kicks off in Berlin.
We have also heard that there will be a number of different versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, with different processors for different regions, plus two models with different displays.
The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to feature a 5.99 inch full HD display, there will apparently be two different displays, one a Super AMOLED display and one a Super LCD display, both models will come with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Processing is another hardware feature that may vary by region, we have heard that the US and European version of the Note 3 will come with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, there will apparently also be another version with a Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to come with a slimmer design to the Note 2, it will also come with 3GB of RAM and a choice of storage options ranging from 16GB to 64GB.
The camera on the Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to be a 13 megapixel model with a range of advanced features like optical image stabilization and more.
Samsung will be packing the Galaxy Note 3 with a range of features, and some of the features we are expecting to see are Samsung’s eye tracing technology that was introduced with the Galaxy S4, these are called Eye Scroll and Eye Pause.
Eye Scroll is use for viewing text on your screen like web pages and emails, when you move your eyes up or down the screen, the display scrolls down or up.
Eye Pause is use for watching videos, if you take your eyes off the handsets display, the video you are watching will automatically pause, these are interesting features that launched with the S4.
Samsung are expected to release the Galaxy Note 3 globally at the same time, and with a possible announcement date for the device of the 4th of September, the Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to go on sale in the US and Europe before the end of September.
