Samsung may be having a tough time with the Galaxy Note 7 recall, but the company still have a few handsets in the pipeline.
Recently, the new Samsung Galaxy A8 was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks revealing the key specifications of the handset.
The handset has leaked a quite a lot lately. We’ve already seen some press renders of the handset and the device even made its way to Bluetooth SIG and GFXBench. The handset recently made its way on to AnTuTU benchmarks revealing key specifications of the handset.
As per the listing on AnTuTu, the alleged device is expected to come with a 1080p display, a Exynos 7420 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The listing also revealed that there’s an 8MP camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera, and ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed out of the box.
One thing which looks a little confusing is the 8MP rear camera. It’s predecessor shipped with a 16MP camera unit so there’s a possibility that it might be wrong and the handset may ship with a better camera module.
There’s no word from Samsung about the launch of the handset, but we’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything about it.
