Rogers has reduced the price of the Android powered BlackBerry Priv in Canada to just $299.99 tied to a two-year contract with the carrier.
Previously, the carrier was selling the handset for $399.99 on-contract. Unfortunately, for those of you looking to purchase the handset off-contract, the selling price remains $800 for it.
Blackberry Priv boasts a 5.4-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s a 18 MP camera on board for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, LTE connectivity, a 3,410 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box.
There’s no word about the sales of the handset in major markets across the globe, but it seems BlackBerry’s struggle is still not over even after adopting Android as the operating system for its devices.
Anyone interested in picking up the BlackBerry Priv now that its price is reduced?
