iOS 6 owners who are looking to jailbreak their devices, are sure to be interested in the new version of RedSn0w 0.9.15B1 which has rolled out this week specifically designed for iOS 6.
The current RedSn0w 0.9.15B1 iOS 6 jailbreak version is a tethered release, meaning that any time you update or reboot your iOS 6 device you will need to reattach your iPhone back to a computer and have the Mac application re-jailbreak your device.
“Today we’re pleased to release redsn0w version 0.9.15b1, with significant new features supporting restoring to older firmware no longer being signed by Apple. For brevity, we’ll list most of the new features in bullet form. For more details, please feel free to drop by our comments section, or check out any upcoming guides on tutorial sites like https://iclarified.com”
It may not be the best solution to jailbreaking an iOS 6 device, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. So if you can’t wait for the full jailbreak for iOS 6 to be released you can now download it from the Dev-Team Blog. However it might be worth waiting a little longer until the full jailbreak is released.
