Today Western Digital has unveiled a new 1 TB hard drive storage kit that has been specifically designed to be used with the awesome Raspberry Pi single board mini PC.
The Western Digital PiDrive Kit comes supplied with a special special USB 3.0 cable that’s designed to connect to the USB port of the Raspberry Pi, together with a 4GB microSD card that can be loaded with your choice of operating systems.
The PiDrive kit is compatible with both the Raspberry Pi Model B+ and Raspberry Pi 2 Model B mini PCs and is available to purchase for $80. Western Digital explains a little more :
