If like me you have a tendency to easily get distracted throughout the day, and would like to monitor your productivity. You might be interested in this fantastic DIY Raspberry Pi powered productivity tracker which has been created by Instructables member, Gocivici. The Pi productivity tracker has been created in the form of a magic mirror, but instead of providing data on the weather and news. Provides useful information on your daily productivity, displaying four useful metrics to help you improve your daily performance and work through your task list with ease.
At the left is a large percentage display revealing how much time you were spent being productive on your computer or smartphone using the ResuceTime service. Underneath this is a handy to-do list to remind you of all your tasks that need completing before the days end, via a connection to Trello task monitoring service.
On the right hand side and once again using the ResuceTime service, the one way mirror display provides a radar graph showing how much time you spent along with your categories of applications, programs you’ve been using compare to yesterday’s statistics, as well as a useful weekly overview.
If you would like to build your very own raspberry Pi powered productivity tracker Gocivici has kindly provided step-by-step building instructions, components lists and set-up instructions via the Instrucables website.
