If you have a number of shortcuts you need to access instantly and very regularly this new mouse-oriented shortcut software called Radian might be worth a look.
This tiny program is only 636kb in size will not drain your computer resources and from a simple right click you are able to access favourite applications without having to visit the task bar or Start Menu. Check out the demo video after the jump.
