AMD has just launched another new graphics card this month the Radeon HD 5830 which is a 40nm DirectX 11 card. The Radeon HD 5830 has an identical 2.15B transistor GPU at its heart as the Radeon HD 5850 and 5870, however, a number of stream processing units have been disabled, bringing the total active SP count down to 1120.
Radeon HD 5830 uses DDR3, has Open GL 3.2 support, ATI CrossFireX ready and has a max board power of 175W. Full specifications can be found on the AMD website.
The Radeon HD 5830 is now on shipping for $239.
