Earlier today we saw the new Porsche Panamera Exclusive Edition, and now the company has taken the wraps off another new vehicle, the Porsche Cayenne GTS.
The Porsche Cayenne GTS comes with a 3.6 litre v6 bi-turbo engine, which comes with more power and improved fuel economy over the previous V8 engine.
Porsche drivers like their car to be sporty – regardless of whether it has two doors or four. At eleven percent, the GTS version of the Cayenne makes up a high proportion of the model mix of what is currently Porsche’s most successful range, with the four-door sports cars in general long since making a major contribution to the company’s profitable growth. At the same time they ensure future investment in the broad spectrum of highly dynamic models offered across the entire portfolio.
The new 3.6 litre V6 bi-turbo engine in the Porsche Cayenne GTS comes with 440 HP and 600 NM of torque, it is capable of traveling from 0 to 100KM/h (62MPH) in just 5.2 seconds in the standard model and 5.1 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono pack.
Porsche have also announced a new entry level Porsche Cayenne which comes with a 3.6 litre naturally aspirated V6 engine that has 300 HP and can travel from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds.
Porsche will be showing of the new Porsche Cayenne GTS at the LA Auto Show on the 19th of November, both models will go on sale in Europe in February of next year.
The entry level Porsche Cayenne will retail for 65,427 Euros and the GTS model will retail for 98,152 Euros, you can find out more details over at Porsche at the link below.
