If you enjoy brewing your own craft beer, and would like to know more about the quantity left in your kegs you may be interested in a new beer keg monitoring tool called the PLAATO. Designed to provide a plug and play system that keeps track of all your important aspects of a beer keg the system has launched by Indiegogo and has already raised over £120,000 thanks to over 600 backers.
Using the PLAATO allows you to monitor the level of beer inside your keg, real-time pouring status and temperature. The PLAATO can also help during brewing offering its scale as a way to accurately weigh ingredients or water up to 60 kg in weight. The system is also capable of measuring how much CO2 is left in a bottle and even identify if you have a CO2 leak.
