Philips has today unveiled new accessories for its Hue Lighting range of products with the introduction of a new Tap Switch, Lux Bulb kit and 3D-printed luminaries.
The Phillips Hue Tap Switch has been designed specifically to be used with the Hue lighting range of bulbs and allows you to control the Hue lighting system without the need to power up your smartphone or tablet device to access the Hue companion application.
One of the great features about the Phillips Hue Tap Switch is that it is powered from your taps using kinetic energy, so no batteries or wires are required for installation, allowing you to position it almost anywhere.
The new Philips Lux Bulb kit priced at $100 includes 2 bulbs and bridge or can be purchased as a single bulb for just $40 and provides users with a more traditional light source rather than huge variety of colours to choose from. Offering a simple dimmable white light for those occasions when a selection of rainbow colours aren’t particularly needed.
