are a UK startup that are looking to change the PC industry, the company is focusing on delivering high end custom PCs with a focus on design and also environmentally friendliness without sacrificing performance.
Their first PC, the Phase One Core is CNC’d from a block of aircraft grade aluminium, and the company describes the device as a ‘whole new way of looking at desktop computing’.
The Phase One Core measures 200mm by 220mm and it just 60mm thick, it comes with the latest Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
The Core represents a new way of thinking about home computing, built on a completely no-compromise philosophy from scratch. Internal componentry is fully customisable ranging from Atom to i7 processors and 4-16gb of ram along with a choice of hard drive sizes.
Prices for the Phase One Core start at around £1500, and the company is also releasing another models, the Phase One Naninte, which is based on Intel’s NUC platform and measures just 140mm by 140mm by 40mm thick.
There are quite a few customizations options to choose from, as well as choosing the internal components, you can choose to have the Core anodized in a range of colors, it can also be painted, and even plated in various metals eight up to platinum.
