Perigon Automotive Technology has launched its second generation vehicle smart mirror and dash camera in the form of the aptly named Perigon II which is equipped with a 9.8 inch digital display HD rear camera and more. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the viewing capabilities of the smart mirror, which is equipped with dual cameras providing improved visibility both from the rear and side.
“Perigon II is an E-Mirror System, also known as a Camera Monitoring System (CMS), that uniquely uses 2 cameras to provide a complete side and rear view of your vehicle. It displays side and rear views with clarity in all weather and lighting conditions while ensuring a considerably brighter and clearer view than standard mirrors. With a proprietary auto-grade HD video screen, technology and design, no other CMS on the market can provide a higher level of control, confidence and ease of use.”
“Installing Perigon II display is as simple as strapping it to your existing rear-view mirror. While, the side camera easily mounts beneath your side mirror, and the rear camera can be mounted in 3 ways: 1) high on the inside rear of your vehicle, 2) inside the rooftop mounted shark fin, or 3) just above the license plate. Additionally, an unused video input can be optionally equipped with a reverse camera, DVR or LWIR Thermal Vision Camera.”
