As well as launching the new Pentax K-r DSLT, Pentax has also announced a pair of new compact digital cameras, the Pentax Option RZ10 and Optio RS1000.
The Optio RS1000 features a 14 megapixel sensor, has 4x optical zoom, and can record HD video in 720p, it also features a 3 inch LCD display, and is about the size of a credit card.
The Pentax Optio RZ10 also features a 14 megapixel sensor, 10x optical zoom, the ability to record HD video in 720p, and it also comes with a range of features which include shake reduction and support for Eye-Fi wireless memory cards.
The Pentax Optio RS1000 will retail for $199, whilst the Optio RZ10 will retail for $219.95.
