Panasonic has shown off an Android based eBook tablet at the e-Book expo in Tokyo, and it features a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,024 pixels by 600 pixels.
The Panasonic eBook comes with a dual core processor, plus a built in camera, and a microSD card slot, although these are not the final specifications, which will be revealed closer to its actual release.
It looks like the Panasonic eBook tablet will only be available in Japan, and it will use Rakuten’s e-book store to deliver content to the device, and it will come with 600 preview-able ebooks installed.
There are no details as yet on whether or not Panasonic intends to release a similar model for the US and European markets.
