As well as announcing the new HP webOS 2.0, HP also announced the next generation of the Palm Pre 2. The Palm pre 2 will feature a 3.1 inch HVGA multitouch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels.
It also features a slide out physical QWERTY keyboard, and will run the latest version of webOS, webOS 2.0, there is also a five megapixel camera with an LED flash that is capable of recoding video and taking still photos.
Other specifications on the new Palm Pre 2 include an accelerometer, a proximity and ambient light sensors, plus integrated 802.11 b/g WiFi with WPA, WPA2, WEP, 802.1X authentication, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP stero.
The Palm pre 2 will be capable of being used as a mobile hotspot for up to five WiFi enabled devices, and it will come with 16GB of built in storage, and it will be available on Verizon Wireless.
There are no details on pricing or an exact launch date as yet, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
