HP has released an official commercial for the new Palm Pre 2, which also shows of their new webOS 2.0, and you can see the latest Palm handset in action in the video below.
The new Palm Pre 2 comes with a 3.1 inch HVGA multitouch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, plus a sliude out physical QWERTY keyboard.
The Palm pre 2 will run HP’s latest version of webOS, webOS 2.0, there is also a five megapixel camera with an LED flash that is capable of recoding video and taking still photos.
Other specifications on the new Palm Pre 2 include an accelerometer, a proximity and ambient light sensors, plus integrated 802.11 b/g WiFi with WPA, WPA2, WEP, 802.1X authentication, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP stero.
The Palm pre 2 will be capable of being used as a mobile hotspot for up to five WiFi enabled devices, and it will come with 16GB of built in storage, and it will be available on Verizon Wireless.
