The OnePlus 5T is going to be announce tomorrow at a press event in New York. The handset appeared in some benchmarks last month and now it has surfaced again, this time on GFXBench. The latest benchmarks confirm some of the specifications we have been hearing about the handset.
Yesterday we saw some leaked photos of the handset, plus we heard some more specifications, now the benchmarks have confirmed the final piece of the puzzle, what cameras the handset will feature. It looks like the new OnePlus 5T will feature a 16 megapixel front camera and two 16 megapixel rear cameras.
The handset will come with a 6 inch edge to edge display that will have a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and will come with an Adreno 540 GPU. The handset listed on GFXbench has 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, there will also be another version of the handset with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
The device will come with Oxygen OS which is based on Android 7.1.1, we suspect that it will be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update some time soon after release. We will have full details on the new OnePlus 5T when the handset is made official tomorrow.
