We have heard a number of specifications on the new OnePlus 5 smartphone this week, the device is expected to launch next month and it looks like it may end up being a popular device.
According to some benchmarks of the new OnePlus 5 obtained by GSM Arena, the handset has achieved a higher score that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 on Geekbench.
The OnePlus 5 beat the Samsung galaxy S8 on the multi-core Geekbench benchmarks with a score of 6687, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ scored 6375.
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ scored higher on the single core with a score of 1978 and the new OnePlus 5 score 1963.
The OnePlus 5 is rumored to come with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and the new Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm.
The handset will apparently feature 6GB of RAM and a choice of either 64GB or 128GB of included storage, the handset will also come with high end cameras.
