If you are patiently waiting for the arrival of your Omate TrueSmart smartwatch which has been slightly delayed from its December shipping dates. You will be pleased to learn that the smartwatch is now making its way throughout the FCC for approval and all going well should be shipping out in a few weeks time.
As with a few other popular smartwatches the Omate TrueSmart watch raised funds via the Kickstarter crowd funding website and finished with over a $1 million in pledges being made.
The Omate TrueSmart is powered by a Dual Core Cortex A7 1.3GHz processor and fitted with a 1.54’’ TFT created by LG display offering a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. Running a custom Omate UI 1.0 based on Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Other features of the new Omate Smartwatch include options for either 512MB + 4GB or supported by 1GB of RAM and up to 8GB of storage with processor speeds to match your requirements. It also offers a memory solution that is expandable using microSD 8/16/32GB cards together with a 600 mAh battery offering up to 100 hours standby time and supports Bluetooth 4.0, Bluetooth Low Energy and GSM wireless networks.
