Apple are rumored to be launching three versions of the iPhone 8 this year, a 4.7 inch model with an LCD display, a 5.5 inch 8 Plus with an LCD display and a 5.8 inch 8 Plus with an OLED display.
According to a recent report Apple will call this 5.8 inch iPhone with the OLED display the iPhone Edition, in order to differentiate it from the other two handsets.
This would make sense as the OLED version of the iPhone 8 is rumored to be Apple’s most expensive handset to date and it is expected to cost more than $1,000.
The new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will come with a new design, this will include a stainless steel chassis and also a glass back.
The handsets will get a new processor and are also expected to come with more RAM than the current models.
Apple is expected to launch its new iPhones some time in Spetember, as soon as we get some more details about the handsets, we will let you guys know.
