PC builders looking for a fanless chassis that is capable of accepting a high-performance PC may be interested in a new piece of kit called the NSG S0 which has been created by cooling manufacturer Calyos.
Calyos is the global leader in Advanced 2-Phase Cooling Solutions for electronic componentsAnd have launched their new fanless PC chassis via Kickstarter this month and are very close to securing the hundred and €50,000 they require to take the PC chassis into production.
Watch the video below to learn more about the revolutionary fanless design of this high performing PC case which is now available to back with pledges starting from €549 for earlybird backers, with shipping expected to take place during August 2017.
Our first challenge was to transform a prototype into a PC meeting users’ expectations. To achieve this, we requested Watermod to help us identifying the missing functionalities, simplifying the electronic integration and improving the product’s appearance. Watermod is a French company known for its projects with famous PC brands such as Thermaltake, Corsair, In Win, Hex-Gear…
Secondly, we had to consider and manage the electronic assembly aspects for people wanting a fully integrated fanless PC instead of an empty chassis. We decided to outsource that aspect to an integrator who will take full responsibility for all electronic features. For electronic components, we developed partnerships with MSI France and Seasonic to supply graphic card, mother board and fanless power supply!
Last but not least, we needed to take care of the logistic aspects to ensure a proper delivery. Due to customs requirements and charges, we restricted the shipping area to Europe, USA, Canada, Taiwan and Japan for the empty chassis and Europe only for the fully integrated PC. Other countries may be opened during the campaign.
