Nokia has announced that it has signed a patent licensing deal with smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi.
The company revealed that Xiaomi has also purchased some patents from Nokia as part of the deal between the two companies.

Nokia and Xiaomi will work together on optical transport solutions for datacenter interconnect, IP Routing based on Nokia’s newly announced FP4 network processor, and a data center fabric solution.
