Then Nokia 808 PureView is a Symbian Belle smartphone that Nokia announced at this years MWC 2012, and the device comes with a 41 megapixel camera.
Now it would appear that Nokia wont be releasing the Nokia 808 PureView in North America, presumably because of lack of interest from the US carriers.
Of course you would still be able to buy a SIM free Nokia 808 PureView and use it with US carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, as a number of online retailers will be offering the device SIM free in the US.
The Nokia 808 PureView comes with Symbian Belle and features a 41 megapixel camera and a 4 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels.
Other specifications include a 1.3GHz single core processor and comes with 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards.
We heard yesterday that Nokia intends to use its PureView technology in future Windows Phone devices, and we can expect those to be available in the US at some point in the future.
