We already know a lot about the new Nokia 8 smartphone. We have seen leaked photos of the handset and also leaked press renders.
Now we know when the Nokia 8 is launching. HMD Global has announced that they are holding a press event on the 16th of August 2017. The new Nokia 8 smartphone will launch at this event.
The Nokia 8 is the first flagship Android smartphone since HMD Global started producing Nokia devices. The handset will come with 5.3 inch display that will feature a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and it will come with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. HMD recently announced a new partnership with Carl Zeiss. This new handset will be the first new Nokia device to feature Zeiss Optics.
The new Nokia flagship smartphone will feature two 13 megapixel camera on the back with Zeiss Optics. The handset will also come with 64GB of storage and Android 7.1.1. We suspect that this could end up being a very popular device for HMD Global as this is the first high end Android device from Nokia.
