Nissan has unveiled a highly customized 370Z Roadster that will be on display at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show. The car has all sorts of custom work done to it to allow the vehicle to accommodate tank treads out back and skis on the front. The idea is to turn the vehicle into a ride that can go where only snowmobiles normally dare.
The ride uses Dominator Tracks in the rear that measure 15-inches wide, 48-inches long, and 30-inches high. The front skis are 12-inches wide by 56-inches long. To fit the treads under the car required some serious modifications. The car has opened front and rear wheel wells.
There are custom suspension mods and a 3-inch lift to accommodate the treads and skis. The factory brakes are used but required modification. The engine is completely stock as is the transmission and steering system.
